Hurricane Iris - 2001

Hurricane Iris began as a tropical depression, east of the lesser Antilles on October 4. It became a tropical storm on the 5th and moved towards Jamaica on the 7th. As it moved over southern Belize, it became a category 4 hurricane. The storm caused 31 deaths.
