Hurricane Keith began developing on September 28, 2000 as a tropical depression. It then began moving northwestward toward the Coast of Belize and turned into a tropical storm. It then intensified and became a Category 4 hurricane. After Belize, it started to travel towards the Yucatan Peninsula and weakened to a Tropical depression.
